"LinkedIn is, far and away, the most advantageous social networking tool available to job seekers and business professionals today," according to Forbes. On this site, Iranian-Professionals.com, we would like to offer, in Iranian style, what LinkedIn offers to the professional communities, and we are hoping this site would be as successful as many of our other sites, on our network, Iranian-Everything.com

Of course, the indisputable measure of the value of our network of sites, Iranian-Everything, is our rate of growth, achieved through one of the most difficult economic stretches in living memory. Just google the term ‘Iranian” along with just about any profession (dentists, lawyers, DJs, realtors,…etc.), and chances are one of our sites is sitting on the top of the list.

Iranian professionals have a special place in our network of sites. Their professions may not fit to be listed in one of our other sites, but most are highly educated, and successful in their fields. The gentleman may not be a physician, but he heads the largest healthcare group in the state. The lady may not be an attorney, but she manages an office, with 20 lawyers working in the firm.

A great majority of these Iranian-American professionals did not have a venue to state their professions, positions, accomplishments, and services they could possibly offer to the Iranian community at-large. As are most of the professionals on all our sites, “Iranian-Professionals” are successful individuals, with often amazing and heart wrenching , sometimes admonitory, and always inspiring life stories.

It is an honor, and our immense pleasure, to bring them to you.

Interview with:

Siamak Farah Bakhshian, Founder and CEO of InfoStreet, Inc. –

August 27, 2012 by Shahrokh Ahkami, Persian Heritage Magazine

Tell us about your childhood, moving to America and your education.

I was born in Tehran on a snowy day in January. At the time, my father was simultaneously working full-time and obtaining his Master’s degree. As with everything in his life, he excelled so well in his studies that he was sent to the States for a second Master’s degree. During this time, he obtained his second Master’s and a PH.D. As a result, I actually lived in America from the age of 3 to 6.

Our family moved back to Iran just in time for me to attend first grade. Repatriation was never a question in our family. We had moved to America to complete a process and we were to go back to repay the country that afforded us that great education to begin with.

I attended the avant-garde Roya elementary school headed by the great late Dr. Parirokh Behnam whose philosophy in child education was focused on treating every child as unique and exceptional, not as entities going through the assembly line. Her approach fostered independent thinking; something that not only worked very well with my personality, but also was absolutely necessary for me. I am forever thankful to her for what she has done for me, for my schoolmates, and for the children of Iran.
